About LabPriceCheck

What we do

LabPriceCheck aggregates pricing data for laboratory reagents and chemicals from major suppliers into one searchable interface. Instead of opening tabs on five different supplier websites, you compare prices for the same chemical across all suppliers on a single page.

Data sources

Prices are collected from public product pages on major lab supplier websites. We currently track products from:

• ActiveFisher Scientific (Thermo Fisher)
• ActiveSigma-Aldrich (MilliporeSigma) — catalog & sizes only, prices require supplier login
• ActiveTCI America
• ActiveVWR International (Avantor)

How it works

Automated scrapers visit supplier product pages daily and extract pricing, pack sizes, grades, catalog numbers, and stock status. Prices are normalized to price-per-unit for fair comparison across different pack sizes. All price changes are logged so trends can be tracked over time.
